October 2005

A big Congrats is sent out to Star's friend Piper who finished her Championship a week after her first birthday in Mason City, IA on Sunday, October 16th.

October is a super month. At the Hutchinson show on Saturday, October 8th, Star earned her Championship and was Best of Winner's. A big thank you to Eva Phillippi, the "Closer" for taking Star in for Winner's Bitch so I could stay on Miss Millie. It is a thrill having a house full of Champions!

September 2005

Mid-September just kept the winning going. On Sunday, September 18th, Star earned her second major going Winner's Bitch. Her cousin Ginger also earned her second major on Saturday. Star is now at 14 points and her Championship is within reach!

What a great start to September. While in Amana, IA, Ginger, a Gunnar sister, got her first major on Saturday, September 3rd with Star as Reserve Winner's Bitch. Clay also was Winner's Dog on Saturday with Riddick as Reserve. On Sunday, September 4th, Bell earned her first major and is now close to being finished. Clay and Ginger went Reserve.

August 2005

The best news of the weekend came out of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Radar was up there with Geri Thompson and he burned up the Sporting Group. Show 1 he took a Sporting Group 2, second only to the Pointer. Show 2 he took a Group 3, to finish his CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP! He finished off the weekend with a Group 4 and twice more making the Sporting Group cut. Congrats Radar!!!

We went to Marshfield, WI with terrific success. Riddick earned another point going Best of Winner's, Winner's Dog on Saturday, August 20th. His mother, Bell, was Winner's Bitch. The following day, Sunday, August 21st was Star's day by taking Winner's Bitch. This weekend we were also able to show "Millie", a Trisha/Ralph daughter, for the first time. She is coming along nicely and moves like a dream. Expect to see big things from her.

The month of August started out well with Star taking Winner's Bitch on Saturday, August 6th in LaCrosse, WI with Dave Slattum handling her and Reserve the next day with Eva Phillippi handling her. Thank you for being available to show her when I was gone.

July 2005

Star wants to send a big congrats out to her weimaraner friend, Lily. After the weekend of July 23rd in Omaha, she is now CH Cameo's Northland Silversmith at just 10 months old and always owner/handled by Eva Phillippi. Congrats to Kevin, Eva and big brother Hunter on having a new champion in the house. She is beautiful and I am sure you can expect bigger and better things from her.

Tigger earns 2 majors July 2nd & 3rd in Vermillion, SD. Saturday under judge Madeline Fish and Sunday under judge Keke Kahn.
