Radar was born on February 14th, 2001 sired by Tibor von Star out of CH Kateland Cruiser’s Trisha Top Producer.  If you are looking for a Vizsla with great top line, super head, hunting ability, excellent reach and drive and a temperament and color to die for, you have found the right boy.

Radar is very special to me; he is my first show dog, first Champion and first Best In Show winner.  So far I have put his bench Championship and International Championship on him, he was sent to Geri Thompson in Canada for his Canadian Championship, which he finished in great style taking a Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4 in three straight shows.  He earned his Rally Novice title without taking an obedience class, has started competing in agility trials and missed his first tunnelers Q at his first NADAC Trial by just 4 seconds (mom's fault).

In 2004 Radar was specialed in the ring superbly by Dave Slattum of the Animal Inn Training School.  To watch these two in the ring is to watch gracefulness in motion.  He was ranked as high as 11 during the months of February and March, won several Best of Breeds and placed in a few Sporting Groups.  This was during a time when there was very tough local competition, I am so proud of what Radar and Dave accomplished.

Another first for Radar, puppies!   The first litter he sired were whelped on August 12th, 2004.  We kept two very special ones close to watch them grow and try and be like daddy.  He has been used for a few litters since and will be used sparingly to approved bitches in the future.  In 2005, Radar was shown sparingly in the ring, and instead worked on training for agility and obedience.  His get are doing such a great job in the ring that speaks wonders for him.

Now that 2007 is upon us, expect to see Radar flying around in the agility arenas and starting in the obedience rings!
