Maverick got his name from the movie Top Gun. Callie, the Princess of Matt and Rachel's
castle is often referred to as Goose and needed a Maverick! His Top Gun billing will not
disappoint.
As a 6-9 month puppy, Maverick went Winner's Dog for a 4-point major and Reserve
Winner's Dog the following day. Four months later he entered the ring again in Jefferson,
WI for the Central Wisconsin Vizsla Club Specialty weekend. Maverick again did not
disappoint. Going Reserve Winner's Dog the first day and Best of Opposite in
Sweepstakes the following day.
As quickly as Mav earned his Championship, we expect much of the same in 2012 as he
will enter the ring ocassionally to earn his Grand Championship., We are thrilled with
what he has already accomplished and what the future holds for him. He is making us
very proud and so far his side-kick Goose loves having him come home when he's been
gone.
Now that Maverick has breezed through the ring, he will be spending some time in the
field, an area that he loves!
